Hi There! I hope you've been having an awesome week! It's Friday and that is almost always a very good day! I'm over at the Brutus Monroe Blog today with a card using the beautiful Judy’s Wreath Die Set … such an awesome set of dies!!
Good Morning! I'm sharing a sweet card today made with the beautiful Flowered Heart Die set from Brutus Monroe this morning. There are so many possibilities with this gorgeous set of dies but I chose to go with a soft look with not only the dies but a beautiful 6x6" Brutus Monroe paper pack called Farmhouse Floral Paper.
Hello Friends! I hope you are having a fabulous week! I'm sharing a card made with the gorgeous Brutus Monroe Abstract Umbrellas Background Stamp today!
These umbrellas are absolutely gorgeous and would be fabulous colored in but I thought they were so intricate that a simple Distress Oxide Blended Background would be just as beautiful! I started with a Bristol Smooth Cardstock panel that measured 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" and used Blending Brushes for a smooth transition. From the top of the panel, I began blending with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide, and then moving to Mermaid Lagoon and finishing with Picked Raspberries. Each ink color was blended into the previous color which created a green between the yellow and blue and a purple between the blue and pink... so pretty! I love that you can use just three Distress Oxide Ink colors and end up with five! After I finished my ink blending, I spritzed the panel with water and blotted with a paper towel to add those fun lighter splotches! I hit my card panel with a heat tool to make sure that the Oxide Inks were completely dry and then used my Stamp Positioner to Stamp the Abstract Umbrellas in Embossing Ink and then heat embossed in Raven Embossing Powder. Once the embossing was completely dry, I used some Pearl Shimmer Paint from my stash and mixed it with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol in a spritzer and then spritzed the panel several times for a fun all-over shimmer!
It was really hard to capture all of the shimmer in a photo but trust me... it's beautiful! I mounted the beautiful ink blended panel onto a 3-3/4" x 5" matt of Raven Cardstock and then added that to an A2 Whitewash Cardstock card base. I heat embossed the "i'm here for you" sentiment on a 1/4" strip of Raven Cardstock from the Bunches of Love stamp set in Alabaster Embossing Powder and added it with some foam tape to the card front. Last but not least I added three PPP Sparking Clear Confetti Sequins to finish it off! I love how it turned out and can't wait to send it off to someone that needs to know I'm here for them!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings, Tina
Hi There! As soon as I saw the new 2021 - 2022 Annual Catalog from Stampin' Up! I knew I had to have the Stitchery Stamp Set! I have tons of ideas and may even decide to do an online class with it! Another Stamp Set that has caught my eye is the All Squared Away Stamp Set... the sentiments are adorable and the font is just the cutest! I've always LOVED stitching on cards! I've even bought a small sewing machine to add stitching but had issues with keeping the bobbin threaded. Finally I just decided that sewing is not the craft for me. Well with this Stitchery Stamp Set.. I can add small amounts of faux stitching any time! Here's a card I made with these two new stamp sets....
This was just so simple to make but the stiches just make it the cutest. I started with a 5" x 3-3/4" panel of Basic White Cardstock and used my Stamparatus to add the stamped stitches in Blackberry Bliss, Polished Pink, Magenta Madness, and Fresh Freesia. Once all of the stiches were stamped, I mounted the panel on a 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" panel of Blackberry Bliss. I ran some Crumb Cake Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack around the matted panel and just prior to finishing the knot, I added three small scrap pieces of ribbon in the coordinating colors for a fun look. The Tasteful Labels Dies were cut in Blackberry Bliss and Polished Pink and added over the twine with Dimensionals. The sentiment from the All Squared Away Stamp Set was added to a scrap of Basic White and cut from the Layering Circles Dies. The focal panel was added to an A2 Polished Pink Card base. Last but never least for the front, I added three of the 2021 - 2023 In Color Jewels in Polished Pink.
Here's the inside of the card..

Hi There! Hope your week is off to a fabulous start! I spent the weekend watching two of my sweet Granddaughters play in a softball tournament. I'm exhausted and sunburnt! lol But it was so much fun! I wanted to share a super cut Baby Girl card I made with the Shark Frenzy Bundle, soon to be retiring, and the beautiful new Basic Borders Dies. If you don't have the Shark Frenzy Bundle and you love it, make sure you head over to my Stampin' Up website and grab it before it's gone. It will officially be retired the end of June! Oh and before I go any further.. I apologize that the picture is no great. It's been storming here so very little light here!
Hello and Welcome to my first post as a Brand Ambassador for Brutus Monroe. I have loved and used Brutus Monroe products for quite some time so I'm super happy to be able to be a Brand Ambassador for them! They have fabulous products for stamping, scrapbooking and general crafting!!
The most amazing part is that my very first post is using one of my favorite stamp sets... Mermaid Lagoon! I am seriously all about anything nautical and especially Mermaids!
Hi There! Happy Tuesday and once again, I hope your week is off to a great start! Tuesdays mean it's time for another Card Challenge over at The Spot and this week we have a beautiful color combination!
Here in Middle Tennessee it is H.O.T. so I pulled out my Sweet Ice Cream Bundle for a cool card to help me chill out some! I absolutely LOVE the watercolor look on the popsicle images in this set! I love this color combination! I especially loved how the Pale Papaya looks like a lighter version of Calypso Coral!
Once again, I went for a Gatefold Card because well... I love me a good Gatefold Card! Here are the details in case you'd like to CASE it!
Cut and score the Coastal Cabana Card Base and layer on the Pale Papaya Cardstock and Pattern Party DSP on each side using Multipurpose Adhesive. Cut the labels using the Hippo and Friends Dies. Emboss the Basic White label with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere the labels together with Multipurpose Adhesive with the White embossed label on top. Adhere Dimensionals to the left side of the back of the labels so that the Labels only adhere to the left side of the Gate. With Basic White scraps stamp two Popsicles using Coastal Cabana full strength ink on the bottom layer of the Popsicles and stamping the top layer with 2nd Generation Coastal Cabana. Using full strength Coastal Cabana Ink add the confetti circles at the upper part of the Popsicle. Stamp one Popsicle Calypso Coral for the bottom layer and Pale Papaya for the top layer and use the Calypso Coral Ink for the confetti circles at the upper part. Stamp the Popsicle sticks with Crumb Cake Ink as well as the wood grain stamped layer. Fussy cut the 3 Popsicles out.... I know, I know.. we all hate fussy cutting but I promise these are super easy! Adhere the bottom two popsicles with Multipurpose adhesive on the Label Layers. The top Popsicle can be popped up with Dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment in Calypso Coral Ink onto a small scrap of Pale Papaya Ink and cut apart and into three small strips. Cut some small strips of Dimensionals (I use the edges) and adhere to the back of the three sentiment strips and add to the Label section of the card. Run some White Baker's Twine along the left gate of the card and adding the small piece of Pale Papaya Ribbon before tying in a knot in the upper left. Trim the ends to finish them off and adhere a glue dot under the knot to hold it in place. I like to unravel the ends of the Baker's Twine. Finish the front of the card off by adding three of the Pale Papaya Jewels. To finish off the inside, stamp Happy Birthday in Calypso Coral on the Basic White layer and add some of the confetti circles in the lower right corner using in Pale Papaya Ink. Add the Basic White inside layer to the Pale Papaya with Multipurpose Adhesive and then add the matted layer to the inside with more of the Multipurpose Adhesive.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings, Tina
