SIP #205 - Color Challenge with Unity Stamp Co. Fall To Go and Rustic Textiles Patterned Paper

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Challenge #205 over at Stamp, Ink, Paper is a Color Challenge that is perfect for your fall or Thanksgiving Cards!

Since I'm all about Coffee, I decided to pull out my Unity Stamp Co. Fall To Go Stamp Set and paired it with the awesome Unity Rustic Textiles Patterned Paper!

I cut apart the sentiment "Grateful Thankful Blessed" so that I could use just the Blessed.  I wanted as much of that gorgeous Patterned Paper to show.  Actually the Blessed would have fit in the bottom section of the Coffee Cup Image but I chose to stamp it seperately this time.  I used Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends to color in the Orange (Pumpkin Pie), Red (Cherry Cobbler) and Brown (Crumb Cake) in the image.  I used a Stampin' Up! Stitched Rectangle to cut the image out and then backed it with a Soft Suede Cardstock layer.  It then layered on the beautiful plaid patterned paper and was mounted on an A2 Card Base made of Soft Suede Cardstock.  

SIP #125 Color Challenge with Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Hope you are having a fabulous Fall weather week.  Today is of course another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge and is my very last Fall Card of the year!  Take a look at the Challenge Graphic.. it really does scream fall to me!

I decided considering the colors in the challenge that it would be a perfect time for one last card to mail out for Thanksgiving.  I used the incredible Vintage Leaves stamp set from Stampin' Up! but the

sentiment is from the retired Lighthearted Leaves stamp set.  I love this sentiment and can't seem to part with this set!  All of my stamping was done on one layer of Watercolor Paper.  I used the smooshing technique to smoosh some Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight Ink onto the watercolor paper and dried in between layers with my heat tool.  Once completely dry I ran my embossing buddy over the front of the card.  I used my Misti to stamp the leaves and Sentiment first in Versamark and then in Early Espresso.  I then heat embossed all of the stamping with clear embossing powder.  There ending up being just alittle more white on the stamped panel than I wanted so I took a sponge and a little bit of Daffodil Delight Ink to fill in the other areas.  I used my Lil' Inker Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the stamped panel and layered on a skinny layer of Early Espresso Cardstock.  All of that was mounted to a A2 card base of 110# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.  Lastly I added a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish it off.

OSAT Blog Hop - Fall/Halloween!

I decided to finally use a Stampin' Up! stamp set that has been in my collection since last year but not inked up yet.. Foxy Friends!  It has an awesome coordinating Fox Builder Punch.  Here's what I came up with for my card......

I love all of the creatures that can be made with the Foxy Friends stamp set... so many options!  I thought the sign was a great way to showcase the sentiment and it gave me a chance to add a little cardinal!  My husband and I love birds and cardinals are out favorite!  The adorable Keep Calm and Give Thanks Sentiment was from the September Paper Pumpkin Kit and I know I'll be using it a lot!  

And here is what I came up with for a coordinating project....

I picked up this adorable little 5" x 7" shadow box that can used with seasonal projects.  I loved the sentiment "gather together & give thanks" from the Painted Harvest stamp set!  It's one of my favorites!  You'll notice I snuck a couple of cardinals in this one as well! :)
