SIP Week #9 Sketch Challenge

Hello all!  Hope you're having a wonderful week so far.  As a reward for surviving Monday, we have a fun sketch challenge for you over at SIP!
I took a little bit of creative license with mine and used vines on the left side and the new Lots of Labels Framelit Dies instead of a circle.

I started with a A2 Card Base of Cajun Craze.  I then embossed a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with one of my new favorites, the Brick Wall Embossing Folder! With my aqua brush I painted in the raised portion of the brick.  After adhering it to my cardbase, I attached two vines that I cut with a Memory Box Woodland Branch die onto Mossy Meadow Cardstock with Two-Way Glue. One person's branch, is another person's vine, right??  I added some flowers punched from Daffodil Delight cardstock with one of my mini punch pack punches. The edges were sponged tone on tone and a small basic pearl jewel was added to the center and then adhered to the vines with glue dots.  My awesome sentiment is from the "Feel Goods" stamp set and was stamped in Cajun Craze onto Very Vanilla cardstock and cut it out with the Lots of Labels Framelets Dies.  The edges were sponged with Cajun Craze Ink and edge of the right side was cut to mimick the sketch.  I then adhered the Sentiment/Label to my Brick Wall with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I used a Candy Dot on the Left side and added another Daffodil Delight flower on the lower right side of my "Sign".

Still Christmas in July?? I think so!

Well after a couple of Christmas in July posts, this month, I think I may be in the mood to play around with some Christmas stamps a bit.

I used the Brick Wall Embossing Folder on Smoky Slate Cardstock for the background and instead of a door I wanted to make a window.  I used my MFT Stitched Rectangle Dies to make the frame.  In looking for something for the inside of the window, I found this cool Bohemian DSP that looked a lot like a wicker shade to me so I thought it would be fun to use.  The wreath was stamped in Garden Green and Cucumber Crush and the berries were various sizes of pearls that I colored with Red alcohol markers.  I love the way those berries turned out.

For the inside I used a thin strip of the Bohemian DSP on the right side and then added my sentiments from the Wonderous Wreath set onto my card.

SIP Challenge 1 Reminder

Hello and happy Tuesday. I'm back with the SIP design team today with a new card and a reminder to play along with our first challenge. Since this is a Getting To Know You Challenge, this should be an easy one. Just make a card that is a "you" card and link it up!

I had fun playing with some old and new products for this one!

I used the new Brick Wall Embossing Folder, oh how I love this one! My butterfly was from Polka Dot Pieces and was heat embossed with Gold embossing powder onto Rose Pink cardstock.  I adhered some of the new Gold thread with glue dots and then attached my Butterfly over that.     I used a Memory Box Woodland Branch die with punched flowers made with the petite petals punch.  on Printed Vellum that was a freebie from SAB and I used my Blendies to color on the backside.  I put a Pearl Jewel embellishment into each of the flowers.  The "Hello" was from the Hello You Thinlits and was attached with SU 2 way glue.

So now that you've seen my card head on over to Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge Blog and link up your own card!
