SIP #193 - Color Challenge with Concord & 9th

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  I hope your week is off to an awesome start!  For the 193rd Challenge over at  Stamp, Ink, Paper, we have some fun colors for you to check out!

I used two different Concord & 9th bundles for this one.  For the flowers I used the Enjoy It All Bundle and for the Banner and Balloons, I used the Happy Balloons Bundle!

I have to admit I wasn't sure of the colors until I started using them, I began to love them!  Both of the Concord & 9th Bundles I used have a lot of fun components. My inks and cardstock colors are Stampin' Up! Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, and Coastal Cabana!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

SIP #191 - Bring On the Cake Birthday Card Challenge

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  It's been a beautiful couple of days here and we're hoping for many more like this.  I'm soooo glad it finally dried out and the sun has been shining!  It is actually beginning to feel like Spring and to start it off in normal fashion, Jeff and I went to my granddaughter's first softball tournament on Saturday.  I expect there will be many more ballpark visits in the next few months. This was a tournament for my 9 year old granddaughter, Taylor.  Next weekend there will be one for Taylor again as well as her 7 year old sister, Laken.

As usual on Tuesdays, it's time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge.  This week is all about birthdays.  This is a good challenge for me since I always need a good supply of those!

Here's what I came up with.......

I used a combination of the Concord & 9th Laurel Frame Bundle and Shiplap Sentiments for this one.  I love the Shiplap so much that I didn't want to cover it up so I positioned the Laurel frame to the far right side.  I finished it off after mounting it on Pistachio Pudding Cardstock and then Basic Black Cardstock and adding three Sparkling Clear Confetti Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.

SIP #177 Color Challenge with Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms Bundle

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Are you ready for Thanksgiving?  I cannot believe it is in just two days!  I'm cooking twice, once Wednesday at noon and again on Thursday at noon.  Am I crazy or what??!!??  Between my kids and my husband's kids, there just wasn't a good time for everyone to come at one time.  I think I have all of my groceries bought and am ready..... I HOPE!

This week's Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge is a color challenge using Dark Brown, Red Wine, and Cement!   Here's a look at the Challenge Graphic.

I decided to pull out my Lovely Blossoms Turnabout Stamp and coordinating die set.  It is an easy set to use with these colors.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'm heading back into the kitchen to get back to work!  Happy Thanksgiving my friends!  I hope you are surrounded by family and friends!

PCC302 Sketch Challenge Concord & 9th Stuck On You Bundle

Hello and Happy Hump Day!  So I did a thing I haven't done in a couple of weeks..... I finally got back over with my friends at Paper Craft Crew and made a design team card for a challenge!  Yep... I know I've been M.I.A. for a while but I'm trying to get back in the groove.

I decided to go with a pretty simple card again.  I am still in love with my Concord & 9th Stuck On You Bundle.  I love all things cacti... :)

I ALWAYS need birthday cards and I'm really trying to build up my card supply so I went this the Hope Your Birthday Is On Point sentiment!  :)  I did a little Distress Ink Blending on my background and layered in a planter and cactus that I had previously made and stashed in my stamp bundle pocket.  Do you do that?  I love to make multiples and then stash the extras away with my stamp set.  It sure makes quick cardmaking easy!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Blessings, Tina

Stamp, Ink, Paper #162 Stamp Layering with Concord & 9th Hi There Bear!

We're baaaaaacccckkkk!  Well Stamp, Ink, Paper is!  We finally took care of the technical difficulties to get back up and running!  What a fun challenge we have this week.... Stamp Layering!

Sometimes you need a quick card and Concord & 9th Hi There Bear really is a good choice for some quick stamp layering!

I don't know what it is about bears but I just love them.. brown bears, black bears, panda bears.. you name the bear, I love them!  I think this Hi There Bear bundle is an adorable set to use for a quick get well card.  The bear uses stamp layering as does the umbrella on this one.  I did just a little quick ink blending with distress inks for the background, stamped the sentiment, and added the stamp layered and die-cut bear and umbrella to finish it off.

Sometimes the simple things in life really are the best!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Blessings, Tina

SIP Challenge #158 Christmas in July!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Have you started your Christmas Cards yet?  Well here's a great opportunity to get a start on them!  Stamp, Ink, Paper has a Christmas in July Challenge this week!

I decided to go with two things.. A)  I wanted something easy  and B) I wanted a different color combination.  Well I think I came up with a super easy card that fits the bill!

This week's card is all about some of the fabulous stamps and dies from Concord & 9th!  My background was the Sketched Stripes Background Stamp.  I used the Christmas Cheer Bundle,  and the Blooms Fill In Bundle as well!  Super fun, super easy and super cute I think!

SIP #149 Dads and Grads Challenge

Hello there!  I hope your week is off to an awesome start!  At least we survived Monday, right?  I have a friend that recently retired.   She said every night feels like Friday night and every day feels like Saturday... how cool that would be!!  I have a few more years to go but not too many.  Hopefully it will feel like that to me too!  I wonder if I'll craft every day??  I think I will!  :)

As usual Tuesdays always mean it's time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge!  This week's S.I.P. Challenge #149 is all about Dads & Grads!

I've been playing around with some of my Concord & 9th products from their April 2018 release.  I used the Sketched Stripes Background stamp on this one along with the Painted Rose Dies for the "thinking of you" sentiment.  For the DAD in the background I used Stampin' Up! Large Letters Framelits.  I haven't made an Eclipse Card in a while and felt like this was a good time to do so!

The sketched Stripes were stamped in Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip Ink onto Very Vanilla SU Cardstock.  I cut the panel out with a Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Rectangle Die.   I cut the DAD out with the Large Letters Framelits.  I also cut out 3 layers of the same letters in Early Espresso Cardstock to stack under the letters. All of the letters were adhered to each other with Tombow Multipurpose Glue.  I cut the "thinking of you" sentiment from the Painted Rose dies out in Early Espresso cardstock twice so I could stack them.  I adhered them over the DAD with more of the Tombow glue.   The front panel was matted on a larger panel of Soft Suede that was cut with a larger Stitched Rectangle die and then those were mounted onto a Dark Brown Woodgrain Card Base.

I love the way this turned out and I hope you do too.  Masculine cards don't have to be boring, right?

PCC289 April Showers bring May Flowers with Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Bundle

Hello Friends!  Happy Hump Day!  It's Wednesday which of course means time for another Paper Craft Crew Challenge!  This week we have some options!  The theme is April Showers bring May Flowers which can be about Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Weddings, Springtime, Flowers, and even rain showers.  So many ideas with this one, right?

I decided to use my Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Bundle because I have had it waaaaayyyy too long to have not even inked it up!

How fun is this bundle??  There are so many parts and pieces that there are options galore with it.   Believe it or not I kept mine pretty simple.  My stamping was done on Bristol Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink that had been clear embossed.  I used my Kuretake Zig Clean Color Markers to color in my leaves, flowers and berries.  The die cut wonderful letters were stamped with the little striped stamp in Smoky Slate Ink.  I love the light gray paired with the Yellow.

I hope you have a fabulous day!  Blessings, Tina

PCC286 Sketch Challenge with Concord & 9th Hi There Bear!

Hello and Happy Hump Day!  I'm back over at the Paper Craft Crew with a card for a new fun sketch!  Hope you'll stop by and check out all of the Design Team's Inspiration!

Here's the sketch..

Believe it or not, I didn't stray too far from the sketch this time.. Gasp!  It's a miracle!  lol

This was a quick and super easy card with the help of a premade card base, a piece of DSP, and coordinating Cardstock and a little stamping with the fun Concord & 9th Hi There Bear Stamp Set.    Sometimes a fun simple card can be a lot of fun and help you to feel like you've accomplished something quickly.  I love these card bases and will certainly be super sad when I've used them all!

Have a wonderful day and a great week!  Blessings, Tina

SIP #143 Basket of Flowers with Concord & 9th Posie Fill In and Banners & Blooms Bundles

Hi There! Hope you're week is off to a fantastic start!  This week at Stamp, Ink, Paper we have a fun new theme Challenge called "Basket of Flowers"

My Basket of Flowers is definitely a "loose" interpretation!  lol

I just got this adorable Concord & 9th Posie Fill In Bundle and I really thought the background looked a lot like a basket.... That's my story and I'm sticking to it!  lol  I stamped the Background on SU Crumb Cake Cardstock tone-on-tone with Crumb Cake Ink.  The edges were sponged with Crumb Cake Ink as well.  Since I stamped it on Crumb Cake all of the Flowers and Leaves were stamped and/or die cut separately and glued on.  Actually some of the flowers were popped up on Dimensionals.  I used Old Olive for the stamped Leaves and the card base.  The foliage diecuts were cut out of a scrap of Mossy Meadow (retired SU) cardstock.  The flowers were stamped with Blushing Bride onto Pink Pirouette Cardstock.  The center was stamped with Flirty Flamingo and I used a scrap of Rose Red behind the die cut center.  The banner was from the Banners & Blooms Bundle.  I'm determined to have a LOT of birthday cards this year.  I never seem to have enough.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

SIP Challenge #139 - Ribbon with Concord & 9th New Release Products

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  I hope your week is off to a great start!  I had a wonderful weekend with some time hanging out with Jeff mixed in with some crafting time..... My favorite kind of weekend!

Well since it is Tuesday, that means another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge!

This is a super fun challenge that requires you to use ribbon.. super simple, right?

So this week's SIP card is all about the new Concord & 9th Feburary release!  Such fun products!  I used a combination of their new products on this fun card.

So first of all for the front panel, I used the Everyday Tintables Card Pack.  How fun these are!  It has emboss resist built into it!  To color mine, I used some ink blending with Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberries, and Peacock Feathers.  Once I completed my blending I spritzed it with my Distress Water Spritzer.  I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out the panel and backed it with SU Basic Black Cardstock.  All of that was layered onto a card base SU Sparkling White Cardstock base that was scored for a top folding note card.   I used more of the Basic Black cardstock to cut out the "hey there" sentiment from the Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases Dies.  I cut it out twice and used Multi Medium Matt adhesive to adhere to each other and then to the cardbase.  To add the retired SU ribbon, I used FastI decided some flowers coming in from the upper right would be pretty so I used the new Concord & 9th Wonderful Florals Bundle for the flowers and leaves.  I stamped them onto 110# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and used my SU Blends to color them in.  I adhered them with Tombow Multipurpose glue and SU Dimensionals.  I finished it off by adding some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Confetti!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina
