Hello and Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are back into the swing of every day life again! I was off work from Wednesday through Sunday and it was super hard to get up on Monday morning and back to work!
This week over at Stamp, Ink, Paper we have a Holidays theme challenge. I tried to make some card this year that were a little more clean and simple than what I normally make. Here's what I came up with using the Perfectly Plaid Bundle and the Tiny Keepsakes Stamp Set.
I used the Tiny Keepsakes stamp set to stamp the little plaid background squares. They were stamped in Real Red onto Whisper White and then cut out with the stitched squares from the Stitched Shape Dies. I mounted them on a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" square card. I stamped the tree from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Shaded Spruce and used the 2 step coordinating stamp to fill in the color of the leaves. I punched it out with the coordinating punch. I added some red metallic thread behind the trees with dimensionals and added it to the center of my card. I stamped the sentiment and cut it into a small rectangle and added it to the bottom of the tree and then finished it off with three green sequins. So simple but super cute and easy to make!
