SIP #174 Trick or Treat - Halloween or Fall Theme Challenge

Hi Friends!  I was MIA last week as Jeff and I were on cruise.  We cruised out of Mobile this time instead of the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area that we normally cruise from.  Here's a picture from our trip.... can you tell that we were hotter than you know what in this pic?? lol

Seriously it was soooo HOT in Cozumel!

So getting back to the business at hand, I literally threw together a card so quickly with some goodies from Concord & 9th in a Fall Theme!

I just totally LOVE all of the Concord & 9th Turnabout stamps and this Lovely Blossom turnabout was super fun because the leaves layer so well.

I used SU Sahara Sand Cardstock and layered the leaves with Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobler SU ink.  I cut the stamped layer 4" x 5 1/4" and layered it on a piece of 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" Early Espresso Cardstock and then on a Pumpkin Pie A2 Card Base.  The "you're every good thing" sentiment came from the Concord & 9th Wreath Turnabout Stamp Set.  The little die-cut flower was cut out in Early Espresso and adhered to the bottom of the die-cut hexagon.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Blessings, Tina

Pallet Birthday Card with Concord and 9th Petals and Pallets Bundle

Hello and Happy Tuesday evening!  I wanted to share my Pallet Card made with the Concord and 9th Petals and Pallet Bundle and the Happy Balloons Bundle!

I loved the idea of a Pallet Sign Card!  Pallets are so popular now. After I cut two pallets out of Kraft Cardstock, I used the coordinating wooden plank stamps in SU Crumb Cake Ink to add the woodgrain.  I heat embossed the Forever  Young sentiment in Black to make it stand out.  The Celebrate Balloon and Birthday Wishes banner were stamped in Black on Soft Sky Cardstock.  Those were both from the Happy Balloons Bundle.  I cut out the banner prior to stamping the sentiment... I found that made it easier.  To finish it off I added some Doodle Bug Sequins and some Natural Thread for the Balloon String.    I love how it turned out.   Hope you do too!  Have a wonderful day!

Blessings, Tina
